You didn't mention how detailed it'd be, so I just felt free to write as much as I'd want.

What grade are you entering? 11

Do you go to public or private school? Public, it's also a magnet for arts students

If private, is it boarding or day? N/A

Describe your school’s general political feel. Is it conservative or liberal?
Liberal, we had a student Democratic representative, a Young Democrats club, but most of us are just pretty laidback generally

Are you pro-life or pro-choice? Pro-life, with reasoning for abortions such as rapes or drastically young teenagers

Are you pro-death penalty or anti-death penalty? Anti-death, because of the inconsistency of trials

Are you pro-gay marriage or anti-gay marriage? Pro-gay marriage; I also
support civil unions, but I believe that if gays want to validate their love and also grew up with the values of marriage, they should be allowed to have the certificate

Describe your religious views.
I'm not tied down to any one religion, but I believe in being open to all different beliefs from all different religions. I believe at heart, most religions have the same values except adjusted to fit cultural values, but that the followers who don't accept that are the ones creating the "distinctions."

What do you think about pre-marital sex?
If it's the right person, and you have read Scarleteen | Sex Education For The Real World <- a prominent and truthful resource to all things related to sex, relationships, and mental health, and know all of the consequences that come with it, it should be a-okay.

What types of music do you like (examples are good)
I love so many different kinds of music, but I'm mainly into J-pop, amazingly good dance music, some ballads, hip-hop, and basically any music that has a message or is just a perfect, well composed song. It doesn't really matter what genre. I also have undeniable heartening for Coldplay and Utada Hikaru.

What types of movies do you like (examples are good)?
I'm an animation nerd, so I love Pixar and Disney classics, but I also love well-crafted classics like Forrest Gump or Fred Astaire movies. I'm also a sucker for really good action movies like The Dark Knight and the Bourne Ultimatum. There are too many movies that don't sink into my head right now..but I basically just like an intensely good movie.
What types of books do you like (examples)?

I adore all kinds of literature and books - I still love to reread my Little House on the Prairie books to relax, House of the Scorpion, Holes, Ender's Game/Shadow as a perfect example of perfect children's literature, and I love reading more adult fiction of different kinds such as On Beauty or Lolita, and classics of different levels are always going to be reread by me. I love anything by Jules Verne, John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, Shakespeare, and basically any other book that people are forced to read in high school :P I also reread my fairy tales and fables book repeatedly - so I'm a book worm.

What type of shops do you like (examples)?

I'm not tied down to any one (clothes) shop; I have very specific needs for clothes that I need/want, but several stores have repeatedly come up with the goods. I adore Liz Claiborne, Casual Corner, New York & Company, Heritage 1981 (Forever 21's untacky sister), several department stores. The normal brands have been becoming pretty blah for me recently. I shop for classic basics and some trendier pieces with a splash of color or a new design on them.

When it comes to anything else, I use Amazon or Half Price books, or I go to cute Asian stationary stores to get my school supplies fix.

What TV shows do you like (examples)?
I love quirky series, like Psych, Monk, Arrested Development, The Office, etc. I also watch PBS shows a lot where they feature documentaries or cooking shows, and British shows are amazing, with Brideshead Revisited and Doctor Who. I also intensely enjoy anything by Anthony Bourdain, like No Reservations and A Cook's Tour. They show off a country's culture as well as its food, complete with smart commentary and beautiful cinematography.

Do you like school?
I am blessed to go to a school where cliques really aren't that well-defined and everyone's pretty laidback, and there's a substantial art scene if you know where to look. Sometimes school gets pretty grueling, but I just find a well-balanced lifestyle with competitive schoolwork and great friends to balance it out; so yes, mostly.

What is your favorite subject?

English - I analyze books and write substantial amounts when I have a muse to go by..or an assignment to do :P

Do you think you’re good at school?
Sophomore year screwed me over due to several long term diseases, but I managed to bounce back up to a 3.8 weighted. I think I could be better, with less procrastination, but I'm a strong student definitely. I just wish the UCs were kinder to those - GPA isn't all that matters..

How do you think your schooling has affected you?

Not only how to improve everything, even in the hopeless subjects, but how to be more outgoing and not be afraid of people - they're not gonna hurt you unless they have intentions to.

Is there anything special about the way your school is run/functions?

My administration is incredibly laidback - our new assistant principal is one of the wackiest art teachers XD They're always very warm and caring, and even if the counselors are always busy, they try to accomadate you the best they can. Teachers are also pretty nice as a whole, even the grumpier ones in class. We also run an visual/performing arts magnet program, so that the high-achieving kids in the more crime-ridden schools in our city can transfer over here. We have a pretty diverse mix of kids due to that.
