I’m a straight A student, All honors. Freshman year I got busted with weed in my bag, I got 4 day suspension and police charges which will be off my record at 18. I’m wondering how this could affect college.
P.S My dad got job overseas and I still want to go to college in the U.S. So will applying as international student help?
I don’t know, I think it depends on if the college asks for your criminal record. As for applying as an international student, you would pay OOS tuition, not sure about anything else.

Being an international student makes it a good bit harder to get in.
If you are a US Citizen, you can’t apply as an international student because you are not one.
Talk to your GC about how to address the marijuana issue.
What does the Common App ask about that sort of thing? Even if it is “off your record”?
What will the school report on your transcript?
