I was suspended from my university for a year for plagiarizing in two classes. I learned my lesson and came back to the university and studied very hard. End result 3.7 G.P.A (not including all the A's I got in community college) and 172 LSAT, UCDC internship, Study Abroad internship, president of a club and Good recs.

What are my chances to get into the top 20 Law?

I do not think anyone can really assess this for you. Schools take plagarism and violation of the honor code very seriously.

You will have to disclose the suspension and the reason for the suspension. I think that there is a big difference in making this kind of error in judgement as a freshman and this kind of error as a junior. I think if the infraction was pretty recent, it may hurt you more.

Some schools may wonder how many of your other grades are based on your work or if you cheated in the past and simply were not caught.
