So, I'm going to a Conference about Conservation and Sustainability in Atlanta, Georgia this weekend and I was wondering what you guys opinions on the topics are. I believe we aren't investing enough in "Going Green" even though it's vital to the endurance of the earth.

Well, I think it’s weird that the same people who call on population controls as a realistic goal in terms of environmental stability are the ones who either ignore or blatantly protest the, in my opinion, very positive effect that GMO’s have already had on sustaining the global population up to this point.

I mean, are these people for or against humanity? You can’t have it both ways. That’s my $0.02.

Population control? That’s way too extreme. The only humane way to control the population is to improve education for women in developing countries.

We are in agreement then. I still don’t understand the hate for GMO’s, though. People would be surprised how big of an impact they’ve had.

I think the way people generally live these days is not conducive to environmental sustainability and conversation. It is unfortunate that since many countries are experiencing unstable economies, the health of the environment is not a major priority in government. If dramatic changes don’t occur in the next decade, our exploitation of natural resources is going to backfire on us once and for all and eventually society may degenerate into something more savage than people will ever be able to accept.

We need to start with plans of transforming major cities into “eco-cities”

bump bump bump
