Hello- our daughter was accepted for Fall 2017 to all 3 of these art schools. We find them all very different. Does anyone have any info on their dealings with these schools. So far SVA gave nothing in Aid, LCAD a small merit which we are happy about but for her illustration major they seemed week. Looks like they soak all the money into the gaming & animation depts. Otis we are negotiating transfer level. Any insight, info or experience would be greatly appreciated.
I applied to SVA regular decision. SVA is extremely stingy about their financial aid, even more so than schools with higher selectivity + better name value. The most that they can give is 60k over four years (avg of 15k per year). I got 50k over four years, and applied as a BFA Fine Arts major.
