I've been curious to listen for some time.

Enjoy

Thanks! Need to go home to listen.

The station's homepage is actually http://wsrn.swarthmore.edu

The link I posted was for the Wednesday schedule, sorry.

Also, the station's homepage suggests using the link on the homepage to the webcast and not bookmarking the link as the IP is still in flux at this time. If you try my link above and get a page not found error, try going to the link in this message and clicking on the desired bitstream rate at the upper right of the page.

Enjoy

Hi,
Do i need a username and password for that? It is prompting me for one when I choose 'listen live'.

the link in the 3rd message (my second) to the radio station itself, then click on the "high" or "low" bandwidth link. That's odd that you're getting that. I tried "Listen Live" on the left side of the page, still no problem, Windows Media player opened and started running the stream.

Bill

Ok. I think I'll try it at home. I think it is the internet at work. No streaming content allowed due to security reasons and also probably bandwidth concerns. The password is my password to the internet at work.

Thanks for the link!

local to your machine and might be an artifact of the user level you use. We don't block much of anything at our college here so there is no real firewalling to stop the reception of streaming content.

It's an interesting station, not your usual NPR college station clone. I imagine there are a few of those in the Philadelphia area, good to see folks strike out on a different path at Swarthmore.

Yes, you're right, it was my proxy server asking for a password. My company restricts access.

One can get gossip about Swat and the surrounding areas too. I am eager to go home and try it.

Listening to it just now. Simian rock playing..
