Ahhh I am so excited!!! I really don’t expect to get in, so I’m more curious than anxious… if that makes sense… good luck guys!!

@adehart14 Same here!

And guys, please plz plz post here when you received your decision letter… I’m getting super curious right now :)

Two issues that came to mind when I saw the picture: The letters appeared to be sorted into 3 USPS boxes (those plastic white ones). I assumed positive / negative / international.

Doubting that’s why it was removed from Twitter, I will confess to being a bit surprised that a very competitive school would gleefully “wave goodbye” to letters where the vast majority of the recipients will be “dismissed” from their community. I’m sure that wasn’t the intention, but your feelings about that picture might vary greatly depending on the news you receive.

@ArtsyGirl13 Thanks! I didn’t realize she said they’d be in the mail today

@momof3sons, I’m just wondering what would happen if one violated the ED Agreement…

Anyone here a decision?

Hhoang, you need to explain what you mean exactly. How is the ED agreement going to be violated? Did someone apply to two ED schools at the same time? Is someone thinking that maybe he/she should not have applied ED to a particular school and is now getting “cold feet?” Something else?

I wonder why there hasn’t been any news yet. From past years’ thread, many people get their letter on the same day when the letters are mailed out. Does the storm delay mail delivery?

@momof3sons Do you know when international decisions are being emailed/mailed out?

I got the letter! I didn’t get in, but I was already emotionally prepared for that! The “rejection” letter was actually very sweet and encouraging. Good luck to all you guys! I hope you get in to this amazing school, and if some of you do not, I’m sure you’ll find another one just as great :)

For those who were wondering, it came in a regular sized envelope, and it had one sheet of paper in it, so it was pretty thin.

Where do you live? Somewhere close to Philadelphia I guess?

Yes I live in Havertown, which is 15 or so minutes away from Swarthmore!

Then I think the internationals will get them next week. Thanks a lot for the announcement! Hope you’ll end up with your best-fit school!

I am an international student, and was accepted via letter. We had this little envelope and its pretty thick (since we get multiple papers). For me, it came by FedEx!
I wasn’t expecting this at all, so I’m elated, and I hope to see you all there!

@happyk95 Congrats! That’s so fast for you! Which country do you live in?

I actually live in the East Asia region.
Amen FedEx.

Oh my goodness me too (Beijing, China)… Now I think I’m rejected (since I didnt get anything yet). Did you get an email too or just mail?

Omg I’m so excited for you!!! Hope it’s not a bad sign for me bc the envelope hasn’t arrived

@Hhoang Same here! I’m so nervous. Which country do you live in?
