I got it, Guang Zhou must be near Hong Kong and Hanoi?

I stay in Saigon… fingers crossed

Jia You u two. I believe we’ll end up where we’ll love no matter what!

Thanks You too!

Still no e-mail or mail. Does that mean I am probably rejected?

to alperenturkol

ehm… I wouldn’t like to say so, because it’s cruel… if you know what I mean…

huahua290

I think I get it.
I had better be prepared ;)

Well my implication only applies to internationals, cuz I know the ones got in all received emails this Friday… so if you are local applicant, do not take my hint easily… :)

Do you know it for sure that all the acceptance letters arrived on friday, or is it just what you observed? I know I’m asking too many questions, but I am a little nervous.

I live in Nebraska and have still yet to receive my letter. Should I be worried by this point?

Even if huahua is right, keep in mind there is still deferral as well as ‘rejected’.

For US residents, you need to contend with the USPS and Christmas mail as well as a week of bad weather…your answer comes at the same speed regardless of the decision…

Okay, thanks GvaMom. So just because my letter is taking longer than others doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad news? I’ve certainly been freaking out this weekend!

btermite,
As I said to someone “upthread,” if the letter isn’t in Monday’s mail, I think it would be fine to call the Admissions Office just to make sure that everything was complete with your application. My guess would be that everything was in order and you are just a “victim” of slow USPS service/weather, but it wouldn’t be out of line to call and ask IF there is nothing in the mail on Monday. At some point in time, they might be willing to give you an answer over the phone, but I would guess you’d have to wait at least a week for that.

Thanks momof3sons, I will plan on doing that. Hopefully I will receive my letter tomorrow and I will be able to share the good news with you guys!

Any internationals out there (either accepted or not yet) get an email yet?

Thanks for the honest warning, @huahua290. I think I can’t make it. Feel very very very very (^1000) sad.

Very very very (^1000) sad is the right word here…

I think it is right that those who got accepted all received the letter last Friday. I am in Beijing and still no notification. Anyway, JIA YOU everyone here

So…according to the previous posts I probably did not get in. Anyone knows whether they are sending deferral/rejection decisions via email? BTW, congrats to all those who got in! ^ ^

My son was deferred. Happy that he still has a chance. Sad he will have wait several months to find out. Swarthmore is still his first choice. Can anyone advice if there is anything he can do to improve his chance of being accepted. Will this semester grades now be considered? What r the odds as deferred??

Letter finally arrived today. Accepted
