If engineering is truly the end game, then Stevens no question. When S19 was looking, we didn’t consider a single school with abet in general engineering. I can’t see a clear career path with that degree.
I want to add that Stevens has a co-op program where their students get jobs in NY and NJ in various companies as part of their degree. Their career services is excellent due to these relationships with so many companies. They also offer a 5 year master’s program.
I live in NJ and somebody was recently saying how lots of NJ kids end up in Hoboken after college when they get NYC jobs because it is less expensive but very convenient to get to the city. (As compared to NY kids who end up in Brooklyn instead.)
Hoboken is loaded with young people, restaurants, and bars (maybe too many bars). Being female at Stevens will also work in her favor, there will be more opportunities for her as a “minority”. (I can attest to this as both a niece and nephew went there but the niece definitely go more opps being female).
