swine flu in boarding school?

i live in a boarding school and there is swine flu going around right now
only 10% people board and already half of the boarders are really sick and are tested positive for H1N1.. My roommate was okay till last night but she started showing symptoms and when she had the flu test today, it came out as positive and she is in bed right now really sick.

I am really angry about how the school is handling everything right now , am i being too overdramatic about this situation? although only 10% students board, if half of us are already really sick then the school should close...all the boarders have to miss the classses.. and when i questioned my boarding school head today all she said was oh you are not going to die swine flu is not that seirous it will go away in a few days.... WTH

i am perfectly fine and even tested negative, my temperature is perfectly normal but they still put me in the room with my sick roomate and wouldnt even let me go to school
all they say is, because my roomate is sick, although i am tested negative, i probably already have the flu and will be really sick by tomorrow

am i being overdramatic or should my boarding school not handle this swine flu thing like this? i just read an article about a cornell student who passed away from the swine flu.....and i am just worried and frustrated about this whole thing .

You’re over analyzing. They’re just trying to limit the spread. If it’s not already in you by now, you’re not going to get you. And it can be in you without you testing positive.

I don’t have jack **** for an immune system and I got it in the spring and was fine. Don’t worry, just stay in your room and get lots of vitamin C.
