Hello,

I am fairly new to the Dallas- Fort Worth area. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus good number of years of experience in the field. I got a job in Denton, TX; that's why I joined UNT working towards a MS in Engineering Systems & Management. I later switched jobs, and I am now living in Richardson, TX. This is about a 40 min drive from Denton(and from UNT). I've done some research, and it seems like UNT is not regarded as a very good school for Engineering, and for getting an MS degreeI am concerned about working hard towards my MS degree, later to find out it doesn't boost my career, but ends up hurting it instead; not getting me the kind of opportunities I would be looking for. I am working as an Engineering Project Manager in my new job, and earning good experience; so I would be looking to be within the field of Engineering Management. So far I have taken 4 graduate classes at UNT.Is it worth for me switching to University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) which is closer to where I now live, and possibly having to start from zero?
