I signed up to take Physics, MathII, and Latin for tomorrow. I have been studying Physics like mad for a while now, but I haven't even started on MathII. I figured I would be OK, but after seeing some practice math questions I realized that I don't remember nearly as much as I thought. I will not be prepared for tomorrow, and I would like to either cancel that test or if possible switch to MathI. Can I do this? How?

you can do that when you arrive at test center... i would recommend you not to take math at all if u haven't prepared it well, and need a good score (750+).. when you arrive at center you can switch all the tests to some other if you want to... but u have to pay extra i think :P and if u don't take a test they don't refund...

You can switch tests without paying a thing.

If you don't take a test, there's nothing to cancel.

"You can change your test from SAT Reasoning Test to SAT Subject Tests or from SAT Subject Tests to SAT Reasoning Test. There is no charge for changing from one Subject Test to a different Subject Test. If you want to substitute one Subject Test for another, you should do that at the test center.

You may substitute any Subject Tests offered except the Language Tests with Listening. You cannot change to a listening test on test day because test centers do not have extra CDs. If you want to change to a listening test or from one listening test to another, you must do so by the late registration deadline."http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/reg/changes.html

Yeah i have the same problem been studying alot for the Math II and U.S. History but haven't had any time for the Chem. So i just tell the proctor that i won't be taking the Chem SAT and ONLY the Chem test would be cancelled right, meaning i can still take the other two and recieve a score for them??

I have the same question except I'm taking us history and math 2c.. ive crammed like crazy for history but nada for math 2c.can i just say i only wanna take one test when i get there? is this a good idea? should i just take it for the hell of it and retake it in oct/nov? does it look bad?

Be very careful! You cannot cancel one SAT subject test and receive scores for the tests you do take. From the College Board web site:

*SAT Subject Tests

You must cancel ALL scores for that test date.

* To cancel a score at the test center, ask the test supervisor for a Request to Cancel Test Scores Form, complete it immediately, and return it to the test supervisor before leaving the room. Once your request to cancel scores has been submitted, your scores cannot be reinstated and will not be reported to you or your designated institutions.
* If you erase all responses to an individual Subject Test, it will be considered a request for cancellation, and scores from all tests taken that day will be canceled.

Since all the tests are in one booklet do I just take the ones I want? Or do I have to tell the proctor?
