Switching from civil to mechanical for masters

I'm currently a civil engineering student, but want to switch to mechanical for my masters (fluids). Is this transition smooth enough without taking extra classes in undergrad to prepare? Consider that I've taken fluids and thermo, and will take intermediate fluids this semester as a technical elective. Do you think it's necessary to take heat transfer and a second thermo in my senior year?

thanks in advance

anyone have some advice?

I would think it would be good idea to take heat transfer but necessarily a requirement. Check with the department that you are interested in. They may have a professor who is looking for someone with your skill set.

thanks dr reynolds, ill see if i can fit it in, if not ill shoot some emails
