Hello,
I have been accepted to UCSD for Fall 2011 under the Neuroscience major and wanted to know if it is possibly/likely for me to be granted permission to switch to the Cognitive Science major. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

you’ve already been accepted for next year? wah?

Switching into Cog Sci would be as easy as clicking a button. Switching back into Neuroscience may not be as easy since it’s impacted.

Switching majors is easy. And you could always switch back without going through the application if you have good standing.

“Students who transfer out of an impacted biology major may transfer back, one time only without meeting the full requirements of Exceptional Admission, provided they are in good academic standing.”

Thanks, appreciate it. I was accepted for Fall 2010, sorry.
