Switching Majors

This isn’t exactly a What Are My Chances topic but more of me asking for advice on switching majors. I am currently a business major and want to switch over into psychology. The problem I am having is I am not the best student when it comes to grades. My first two years in college I have absolutely dug myself a grave of a hole with my GPA. I am not a person who parties and gets drunk every weekend. I study, I put in the time and effort, I take tutoring, and I give my all but I just can’t seem to match my grades with my hard work and it’s deeply frustrating because I am letting myself and my family down. I desperately want to finish college but I can’t seem to pass these tests. I am actually a very intelligent person but whenever I study I can never retain new information in the required time for me grasp it. I have a lot of all-nighters just to retain a chapter of information or to figure out certain math problems. I have a 1.125 GPA which is humiliating because I was once at a 3.0 GPA. I am on academic probation and am paying for school out of my own pocket with the help of Army Tuition Assistance. I just need advice on how to tackle my situation. I never really fell in love with choosing to be a business major. I just chose it because it sounded like a good choice. Now I know I want to study psychology because I’ve always had a hidden passion for it. I know the major has very challenging courses but I would rather fail at doing something I’m passionate about than something I do not care for. Any advice would be well appreciated!! Thank you!
