Syracuse and work

I am strongly considering going to Syracuse, and will most likely major in economics. I want to work on wall street when I graduate, In a top IB firm (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc) but I want to know how Syracuse will set me up to get jobs, summer internships, and the like on wall street. I plan on getting my MBA as well, but as I understand it you usually need work experience in between and I want to go to an undergraduate university that will set me up to get a job or internship at a top IB firm. This is also assuming I'm receiving very high grades and am in the top bracket of my class. If the answer is no, then do those firms also recruit out of top ranked business schools? For example, out of college going to a mid ranked firm, then going to a top business school such as Columbia?

thanks

It seems like your goals are well in line with Whitman School fo Management (business school). They’ve got a Finance emphasis you can choose that is precisely in line with what you want. I don’t know anything about their Economics department. You might just call up both Whitman and the school of Economics directly with your questions and ask to talk to a recruiter/counselor. These people go to work each day hoping someone like you will call.
