I have been accepted into Syracuse's Whitman School of Management, Babson, and Emory. I am really tied between which school I should choose. My major is Entrepreneurship, and Babson is number one. But, I am also looking for the whole college experience. I am curious. What do you guys think in terms of Academics, Prestige, College life, etc?

If you want to work in the SE, definitely Emory. Also, if there is any chance at all that business is not for you, Babson is probably not the best choice. If you’re into the businessweek rankins, Goizueta is ranked 9, Babson 23, and Whitman is 49 [The Top Undergraduate Business Programs](http://bwnt.businessweek.com/interactive_reports/undergrad_bschool_2009/). The bad part about Goizueta is that you have to apply to get in during sophomore year. I heard that getting in isn’t too hard though (like above a 3.0 and a few extracurriculars)

Frankly, I would NEVER go to a school that requires a 3.0 to get into the major that you want. Why?

College is MUCH harder than high school. Not only is the work harder, but you will be subject to a whole slew of distractions that high school didn’t provide. Getting a 3.0 GPA or higher in your freshmen year is no easy task. The problem is: what happens if you don’t do it? You are stuck! You can’t transfer if you have a lousy GPA. You are stuck!

the fact that you have to apply for goizueta is what drew me away from emory.
when you get your letter in april, you wanna know where you will spend the next 4 years afterall.
if you have your mind set on entrepreneurship, go to babson. it is ranked no.1 globally and even in the general business rankings (BW, USNEWS) it has been climbing quickly and constantly.
