3.85 uw. 4.55 w. 1330 SAT (didn’t submit. regretting it now). Newhouse and Maxwell dual enrollment admit with 15K scholarship. I did show a lot of demonstrated interest.

merit from syracuse is simply not something one should expect based on stats.
they never publish awards based on stats so it should never be expected.
they look at the entire picture and since they require applicants to submit financials they truly award merit to those who need it to attend the school

@fanoffriends, really? I’m surprised they’d admit people and expect them to pay $300k+ for four years. Someone would really have to want to go to Syracuse if that were the case. We certainly can’t afford it.
So, if money wasn’t listed in our acceptance, then we receive nothing?

Merit is never based on need, hence why it is called merit and not financial aid. And your EFC is not truly reflective of the big picture, that is so skewed!!!
They will still go through unless you withdraw them

Gotcha. And is it possible to back out of an enrollment deposit would that have any penalty on me? I wanna submit an enrollment deposit now since I am 99% sure I’m committing here but if something happens which I doubt it will, will I be able to “back out”?
