It depends. Each college runs their program a little differently so try to get as much information as you can. For example, some schools have a bridge program, and the bridge students get to stay on campus while taking classes elsewhere. They can participate in many activities as well except Greek life. It looks like Syracuse runs their guaranteed transfer program at a small school with total enrollment of about 500 students. Often groups that start in a guaranteed transfer or bridge become a close cohort. Definitely ask more questions and try to speak with a student who has successfully made the transfer. Also ask about advising and mentorship and how far the school is from Syracuse that you will take classes at and where you will live. Good Luck! Rooting for you whatever you decide!

Check your portal. We were told that they would be sent by first week in January but checked the portal last night and it was there.

Does anyone know if we need to send our mid year grades if we were admitted early decision or is that just for regular decision applicants?

my myslice looks completely different and there now isn’t a place for me to submit the initial payment. also my FA portal is gone and i still haven’t gotten my package. should i call the FA/admissions office?

I have not got an email yet either. I emailed my advisor and she said they’re only starting to send out the next wave of applicants after Xmas.

I just did the deposit last night. We were able to do it after we set up the parental proxy account. Btw
the deposit was a bit steeper than I was expecting!

The deposit was $950. I was surprised as my D21s at another college was only $200.

you’re not out of the race, I got deferred to RD last year and got accepted.
