As of junior year’s close: 3.875 unweighted gpa
Took: 3 H’s 2 Ap’s so far (APUSH and APLang got 4’s on both)
SAT super scored: 1160 (so bad, might try ACT)
In extracurriculars, president of a club, swim team all 4 years, lifeguard over summer, on track to be in Spanish NHS
Snr. year I will be taking: AP bio, AP gov, AP psych, H spanish, pre calc, snr english

What can i do in these final months before applications to get my resume beefed up? Is the ACT worth a shot, or should I keep trying at my SAT?

Some people like the ACT better. I am better at Math and found that the ACT was much easier.

Math is actually a weak point of mine. 630 on English and 530 on math for my SAT

My daughter is very weak at math but did much better on the ACT. It’s worth a shot to try it.

My D was able to improve her ACT score so that helped her a lot (and she only improved it to a 24). But I will say that demonstrated interest counts a lot for Syracuse. Visit at least a couple of times, try to meet with someone in the program to which you are applying, and taylor your responses in your short answers to reflect your interest and discuss the ways you want to be involved on campus.
