@nitronicala What you are seeing is absolutely fine. We had the same thing until my son’s acceptance came through last Friday. Until a decision is made (and presumablely with an ‘accepted’), then the site will read as you see it now.
I just got an email I am missing some financial aid stuff is this a good sign?
@spqr70nj so if I see the 2020 financial aid icon, would that perhaps means an acceptance?
@Futaro1121 Everyone got upgraded with the Financial Aid 2019-2020 icon. However, if you try to click on it, you shouldn’t see any info unless you were formally accepted to SU. You will see a message that no aid is available. We had the same message until my son was accepted, then when we clicked on the icon and were able to view the aid. It happened almost simultaneously after he had received the acceptance email.
I got accepted to Syracuse HEOP a few hours ago
@syracuse2023 Congrats!!!
So tomorrow is Friday. Are we looking at a mass of acceptances and also possibly rejections? My daughter is still waiting and this is a reach school for her. I’m sort of anxious to get it behind us!
I have a friend who got accepted on Tuesday through HEOP, so we can assume that there are some decisions being sent out on days besides Fridays
wait so are we thinking that another bunch of decisions will be coming out tomorrow? (i didn’t get an email last week)
Hello,
My twin daughters both applied. One twin got accepted to the school of Education. The other one has not heard yet.(arts and science) However, today they both received a letter from financial aid saying they need a parent authorization form release. Any thoughts? We are very confused.

@charlottemd @3girlsandadog Based on previous years, people are expecting another wave today. Most are expecting it to be mainly rejections and/or waitlists, though I’m sure there are some acceptances as well. Realize that no one really knows what’s going on - we can all only speculate based on reading last year’s threads or what we’ve heard from other applicants. Basically you just have to wait and see. Good luck!
I just got a mail from DHL saying that they are gonna send a letter. I didn’t get my decision yet so I don’t know if its an acceptance or rejection. I am an international student so do you guys think Syracuse will waste time and money in sending a rejection letter?
My S has not heard back, but he is a film major and the deadline for portfolios was March 15th. I absolutely do not expect this wave to be just rejections or waitlists. Positive thoughts and good luck to you all!
If there is a wave today, is there a specific time we can expect to hear from them based on last year? Or do all waves typically come out at the same time as last Friday?
Most likely around 6pm
I just called admissions. They said that there are still acceptances as well as rejections and waitlist that will probably come out today and continue till the end of the month…
Do they send out an email with the decision or send out a link to a website? How does it work for Syracuse specifically?
They should just send them out all in one shot, not fair for the kids.
