for those not yet admitted what does it say when you click on your financial aid? does it say that the page is not yet available, someone please answer

I got accepted but don’t see anything on the financial aid page on myslice. Does that mean I got nothing?

@hopefullyhoping
mine says “you have no financial awards at this time”

ok tthanks!

For anyone who was wondering, I was admitted to CAS today and all of my financial aid awards are on my slice. About 27k

I didn’t get an email today but my award is on myslice but I can’t access the acceptance form I guess I have to wait for the official email on friday

It’s weird because it has all my grants and scholarship info and even a letter saying I was admitted, this is so annoying

Sorry hopefully is Syracuse ur top choice?

Yes, no I’m pretty sure I got in bc other wise I wouldn’t have financial so I think it’s just that I need to wait for the official letter which will probably come in next week, lol don’t be sorry I’m almost 99% sure I’m in because on my fa package there’s a link that takes me to a break down of my financial aid and on the top it says congrats on your acceptance to syracuse

@hopefullyhoping it says that they have received my FAFSA and my CSS profile but that’s it

I think they are trying their best to do people’s FA package.

Ok couple questions for any alumni or SU staff… My D got accepted, but to her 2nd choice major. She wanted Newhouse. Are there any alumni that went to SU and then was able to transfer into Newhouse later on? What was the process like? Are there any stats for % of how many apply and how many get in? Really surprised she didn’t get in. She applied to 9 schools and got accepted to all. She got offers from other schools asking to be part of their honors program. Needless to say she did real well with sat/act, AP, essays, etc.

DS got his email link (accepted). Does anyone know when he’ll find out about honors?

They take internal transfers for Newhouse. They accept the students with the highest GPAs and work downwards until all the spots have been filled. It would be a risk to rely on transferring internally, but you can try. Your daughter should aim for a 4.0, but obviously students with lower gpas than that have been able to transfer internally successfully into Newhouse. Also, it is more selective to transfer for the spring semester than fall, so she should complete at least one year of full-time coursework. I truly wouldn’t recommend it, unless you have 100% faith in your daughter. I should inform you I am not alumni or part of the SU staff, but this question was brought up at an information session I recently attended.

When is the next wave?

the next wave is on the 22, good luck!

good luck to everyone in the second wave on the 22nd! <3

i have a section in my financial aid that says summer after the fall and spring link, is everyone’s like that too?

Has anyone been accepted or heard from the Bandier program yet? I applied RD and didn’t hear anything yesterday I want to know so badly!!

Has anyone been rejected from the first wave? I didn’t hear and I’m still hoping that the waves are just random…
