<p>so i filled out the syracuse supplement. for my first choice major, i chose pre-med because that's what i want to do, for medical school. but should i have chosen the major as pre-med or one of the other sciences, like chemistry, biology, or biochem? what difference does it make? i've heard people say that pre-med isn't a major, so i'm kinda confused. should i call them to change my first choice major even if the deadline's passed already?</p>
