EDI finds out the same time as EDII??? WTF i’m so done with this shit lol this shouldn’t be allowed.
oh i’m censored that’s cute
No way
Is anyone else legitimately angry about this?
that really doesnt make sense because the EDII deadline is January 1st…
Very angry not okay. Why didn’t they tell us ED 1 and ED 11 will be notified at the same time? If i knew that ahead of time I could’ve spent more time on my application. From what I understood ED 2 would be february
This is exactly what happened last year guys. I found out December 15th but I don’t think another wave went out until January. Some people didn’t find out until after ED II.
@meganfox98 It no longer had the page where it said that you didn’t have access or whatever. Instead it said that I had been accepted.
There is no way that ED 1 and ED 2 come out at the same time. That just doesn’t make sense
lol @TheMaximusjk funny seeing you here… good luck to you too man, hopefully we hear back before grad school
Yea, what the actual fuck… Not fair
We are for sure finding out before January 1st… ED II apps aren’t due till Jan. 1st and they release those decisions around February
@Lebron1227james I’m a freshman at Syracuse right now… I applied ED last year… I think that I know what I’m talking about. You throwing out random numbers and dates isn’t helping anyone. You don’t know when it’s going to happen, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but there’s a trend that I was a part of. You can look up the threads here on CollegeConfidential
@Lebron1227james makes sense
The dates that @Lebron1227james said are literally on their website. He’s not throwing out random numbers and dates @Syracuse19
@Morgandia and that’s exactly what happened last year. As someone who’s been through the process, I figured y’all would like to know that this isn’t abnormal and it could be a while.
I hope Admissions AND Administration reads this. Syr seems to be the only school that requires students, parents, and counselors to jump through binding ED hoops without giving a specific decision date (or even releasing decisions on the same day). This adds a HUGE amount of stress to an already stressful process. We met a deadline; why can’t Admissions? Since Friday, I’ve spent two hours every afternoon in front of my computer with a knot in my stomach. Happy holidays, folks. And now, all of a sudden mid-December has become late December. This all makes it seem like Syr doesn’t have its act together and is playing games. It sure doesn’t show respect for students who went all in for ED.
For everyone who doesn’t believe me because ‘the website said so.’
amen @grad16 i 100 percent agree
SU’s Twitter just announced that ED and ED2 will be released at the same time. https://twitter.com/gosyracuseu/status/677299774467493888
