That most likely just means that any EDll applicants who submitted their applications early enough for them to be processed will be notified the same time as ED applicants. Doesn’t mean we will be finding out later than they originally told us.
So I just called admissions and the woman I spoke to said that the release date hasn’t been pushed back to late December and January. Why does no one at Syr know what is going on! This is bs. At this point I’m past angry and fucking livid!
Thats weird because on their twitter they announced again that they will be coming out at the end of december and early january again. They are so disorganized and dont realize this is effecting the applicants. I now have to apply to all of my other colleges because i thought i would have my decision by now but probably not until near or after January 1, which is the deadline for the rest of my colleges. I’m pissed.
Everyone seriously needs to calm down. I applied ED October 30th so I’m anxious as well but let’s face it. Syracuse doesn’t owe us anything and we would all be ecstatic if we got in. It doesn’t make a difference if they were to tell us on Monday or if they tell us on Friday. Best of luck to you all!

I called the admissions office and they said it can be any day, there is no set date… so annoying!!
@penajulia Hey girl, I also remember you from last years thread. Im applying as an education major as well as i was just wondering what you thought of it so far? Also do you think i have a shot getting in ED with an 1820, 3.3, lots of extracurriculars, a strong essay (imo haha), and a pretty good number of APs/ honors classes??
Hey guys, I have it on pretty good authority that we will hear tomorrow or next Monday or Tuesday. My guidance counselor is very close with one of the senior admissions counselers and he called him today because this is getting ridiculous. It’s not definite that everyone will hear but the first wave will be out soon.

@princess41 I love it! The community of Education majors is amazing because the major is small, and all of my classes except for one are Education related. I’ve already had work in the classroom too and it was so fun! I really love the major, it’s one of the reasons I chose Cuse. I had similar stats, a little higher GPA and a lower SAT score and I got in, so I think you’ll be good! Good luck
