Syracuse University 2021(2022) ED Applicants

from past experiences they always ignore it :frowning:

If accepted who is going to own the dome??

Where did you see whitmans acceptance rate was that low? I thought I saw 45%

Hey guys,

Did some researching, for the past two years applicants have gotten notifications by 12/15 at 5:30 PM EST. Does anyone know if waves will start being sent out tomorrow?

It’s officially December 9th!! Although it’s highly unlikely decisions will be released today, let’s all check if our admission acceptance forms or financial aid pages have updated on MySlice.

It would probably be around 3-4 o’clock if we get it today @jitterbugperfume

@clangs Last year came out on December 18, I think.

I know several current students who say that acceptance notifications won’t be sent out until after the semester ends, so next week, but that is definitely apt to change.

Does anyone know if the waves are organized alphabetically by last name?

No, waves are by who sent it in earliest

I really hope it is today, but I feel like going off previous years, they found out the 16th last year, the 15th the year before. But the year before that they found out the 5th so i really don’t know

Do you think I’ll be in the first wave if I submitted the app around mid October?

Who wants to call ?

I submitted my app October 15 so I would hope to be first wave but im not sure how they organize it

And yea cuz a applicant applied nov 10th and got it the first wave I think it may depend on the college you apply to

It could happen today, years vary. But I would bank on them coming out either Thursday or Friday of next week (12/15-12/16)

Should someone call? My MySlice hasn’t changed.

@Tilikum17 I went to Whitman for the Orange Preview and they said that in the presentation that Whitman is the third most difficult school to get into at Syracuse, behind Newhouse (obviously) and the Architecture school (did I spell that right). Whitman has skyrocketed on the list of best business schools and with that more students applying and higher standards.

God I’m so nervous that it could be today. I sure hope it is. I sent my application in way early, but my school guidance office is a mess and didn’t send my materials (transcripts, letters of rec, etc etc) until literally the day before. So I really don’t know where I’ll be on the spectrum. I just hope to hear back soon. If I don’t get in I want to actually work on my supplementals for other schools and send my ACT scores (not trying to spend $16 per school if I won’t even be applying)

Heard that there weren’t as many ED applicants this year. Anyone else hear this?

ugh i just want to know already im so sick of waiting
