Okay everybody take this as a grain of salt, because it could be wrong. BUT my cousin who goes to Syracuse said that the word around campus is that it comes out today. Again she could be wrong, but at least there’s hope! At the very least it means they’re close. She said it is 100% this week and if it’s not today Tuesday/Wednesday should be the day.

I emailed my interviewer and she said that they are in the final rounds of committee. She said that they will send out decisions starting later this week and continue through the New Year.
^^^ theres no way they can go through the new year the ED agreement was by January 1st
I talked with an admissions counselor, and he said it will definitely be sometime this week. Either tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Unfortunately, we have no idea which day it will be or what time.

Everyone needs to relax. Yes, it stinks that they have not followed what they have done for the past 7 years. Yes, it stinks that Cuse is the only ED that hasn’t heard yet. Yes, it stinks that they are not adhering to what has been printed and explicitly says in all their publications about letting Early Decisions know by mid-December. The whole thing is ruining the whole exciting time for everyone. Everyone putting their 2 cents in as to what they are hearing and what they think is going to be is only adding more anxious feelings. If they do not inform us by the end of this week there is no way we can be held as binding. That would not be mid-December. My lifelong dream has been to go to Cuse and now all that excitement and happiness as been minimalized.
It certainly is frustrating, but we all need to relax and not let this get to us. It’s the holiday season and we should spending time with friends and family
At least if they aren’t going to hold up their end then communicate with us. I am literally a disaster waiting anxiously making everyone around me nuts!
I couldn’t agree more! Its hard to see all other ed applicants for other schools get in and we still don’t even know a date! I understand being backed up but I think we deserve to know when we are hearing back at this point or they should communicate what is taking so long
