<p>@fcor when I visited UNLV our tour guide was a film major and he went on and on how many opportunities he had there. He had even worked on the hangover 2! Being only 3 hours from California really helps. And if you ever wanted to transfer to a school in Cali you could always start there. It’s pretty easy to get into. And im sure you could get great scholarship money. I’m kind of biased there because my family all lives there and if I don’t get into cuse ill most likely go there. But I thought you should know what I found out when I visited last month. :)</p>
<p>Haven’t gotten my letter yet. Think I’m throwing my head against the wall with anticipation. I actually didn’t go out last night, I just stayed in bed all night with a bowl of ice cream and Netflix… Do you think they send more out today?! Or wait till next Friday…</p>
<p>Literally couldn’t even hang out with my friends last night because I couldn’t get Syracuse off my mind!!!</p>
<p>For those of you that haven’t heard yet, please keep the faith. You simply haven’t heard yet… A few have posted on here that they got denial notifications, and since we all were expecting at least 2 waves of notices, then let’s simply say that no news is not bad news.</p>
<p>Another question. A few have mentioned that they received Financial Aid notices. Is that correct? if you have, please confirm that it was indeed Financial Aid, and not Merit Scholarship awards. Big difference.</p>
<p>Can anybody confirm that they have in fact received true Financial Aid offers, which might include a Universiy Grant, etc.</p>
<p>I’m simply anxious. I submitted my application at the beginning of November. Now, rather than Christmas Shopping and doing homework, I’m working on other apps just in case. But I don’t know where else I want to go!</p>

<p>Hi! Got accepted to my dream school of Syracuse school of architecture 4:20 yesterday! I still cant believe it. I really wanted to go here so I did the in person portfolio review and interview. My portfolio consisted of 11 still life drawings (4 of which were figure drawings) and 12 photographs (was a little worried my photographs wouldn’t be considered competitive material but obviously they worked!) so happpy!!</p>
