Syracuse University Regular Decision 2021 (& 2022)

Guys just because they say mid march does not mean you will hear by mid march. There is no definite date everybody will hear by. In past years they’ve let kids know all the way through April as well. There may be a time they let the majority of decisions out, but there is no definite date you will hear anything. Please understand this.

Can anybody tell when will they be releasing scholarship decisions ?

my D got her scholarship with her acceptance letter… but we are still waiting for the complete financial aid package

heard a classmate say when they called admissions a few days ago that notifications will start March 18 and continue until April 1 FYI

@mommabear67 did she apply early decision or regular?

@mjhjk2017 regular decision. I just spoke with financial aid and he said financial aid packages are going out this week…we shall see…

@mommabear67 so the first batch might be sent on this Saturday?

@bling0202 I wasn’t told a specific day…just that they were starting to send out financial aid awards this week.

Does anyone know why some people are beig notified now even though the office says the decisions will be released later? Is it special programs?

@Patagonier yeah it’s special programs. Whether it’s HEOP considerations , SSS, or even being admitted to the honors college and some of the scholarship notifications.

Does Anybody now when will they be releasing 1870 scholarship decision? Also is ACT 31 okay for the 1870 scholarship?

Has anyone from the music department heard yet?

I applied in early November for Syracuse’s engineering program and have not heard back yet. Hopefully they release their decision letters soon because I’m anxiously waiting!

My twin daughters applied in October for regular decisions and have not heard. We were told mid to late March. They have been accepted to Michigan State, Temple, penn state main summer session, Ithaca , Pitt regional campus so definitely out on that one . Syracuse is a top choice for majors but feel cost may be prohibitive unless decent grants /schlorship money. Good luck to all. We live outside Philly at a highly rated school. High GPAs, avg test scores and lots of volunteer/and clubs. Hoping for the best. Good luck to all!

Does anyone know how quickly Syracuse sends out your fafsa and scholarship information after releasing admission decisions?

My son has not heard. He’s applying to the Bandier Program, second choice is performance.

Got an e-mail from Syracuse saying financial aid documents were incomplete and went to check a week ago and the documents were my fafsa and the css/financial aid profile application. To my knowledge the profile application hasnt been touched, however, it has dissapeared from my to do list on my slice and it only asks for me to fill fasfa forms. Did i miss the boat on SU financial aid?

I may not find out my admissions decision until late March (knowing my luck), but should I just go ahead and register for the Orange Preview on April 7th now? In case it fills up?

Anyone for Art and Science? I haven’t seen many people on this post get into CAS. This Friday seems very likely that another batch will come out. Check out last year, a lot of them got decisions on 3/18/16, a Friday, so it is reasonable to predict that 'Cuse will come out on this Friday, which is 3/17/17. May the force be everyone who is also waiting for decision!

@Coll2021 I have not seen anybody on this board who heard back yet for RD from the Syracuse college of arts and sciences (CAS). Maybe some who were dual majors with another school, but none who applied just CAS.
