Taft Question

Does anyone know how Taft notifies its decisions to its applicants ?

See this thread:

[How Schools Notify Acceptance… - College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1073196&referrerid=228550)

It says Taft notifies by mail.

Last year, taft notified students by mail, and I do not believe they sent their decisions (or at least some of them) until the 10th.

My D is a Taft student - She was notified via USPS mail. It arrived two days after the 10th (we live across the country). Quite a nail-biter, but so worth the wait!

im international and i got mine 12am US eastern time by email

did you get in ?

“I regret to inform you that we are not able to admit you to Taft. The competition for
admission to Taft is at an historic high this year. With over 1,600 students applying for only
170 positions, many more qualified students apply than we can admit. The task of the
admissions office is particularly challenging because we must deny admission to many
applicants like you, who are appealing to us on so many levels.”

sorry to hear that :(

its ok, i got waitlisted for exeter and deerfield. i heard a student from one of the tour say that when he was applying, he got offered or waitlisted to every school except taft. so this was sort of within expectation

Accepted! Anyone else applying to sophomore year?

I’m applying to sophomore year. Haven’t gotten a email but I live in New England so a letter will probably come later today.

wait how do you guys already know if you got into taft ?
