Taft School Summer Program, rising 8th grader

<p>I'm interested in sending my son to The Taft School summer program and am looking for to get some insight. My son attends a very rigorous day school so my hope is that he gets a feeling of boarding school life but gets a break from the 4 hours of homework he frequently has during the school year. He is a solid B+ to A- student. He may be applying to boarding school for 9th grade, not sure yet. </p>

<p>Are the afternoon sports organized? How are the teachers? What about the students?</p>

<p>what did you do in the end? I am from france and looking at an ESL summer program for my 13 year old son. I have shortlisted Loomis, Choate, NMH, Salisbury and Taft.</p>

<p>can you tell me which program you sent your son to in the end? did he like it? was it worth the money?</p>
