TAG GPA threshold?

Hey guys, Im currently attending a CC and planning to transfer to a UC in the near future using TAG.

I dont have the appropriate GPA to TAG to UCI (which is a 3.4) and I was wondering if I could boost that gpa? I talked to a CC counselor a few days ago and he said that You won’t be able to change the GPA after 70 Units and im currently about to be at 68 Units with a 3.2-3.3 MAX.

Im confused if this GPA only applies to TAG GPA or is it for OVERALL GPA or NONE.

You need to have a 3.4 GPA at time of application meaning now and have to maintain it through Spring. Your TAG GPA is your UC transferable GPA. You can always apply for regular admission.
