<p>Yes, you must establish residency in California in order to be eligible.</p>
<p>The UC TAG Matrix says that you only need to establish residency if you’re applying for TAG with UCSB and UCI.

<p>TAG is open to international students with “domestic coursework only” (California community college coursework only) at every UC campus that offers it. So the short answer is no.</p>
