Take and send both tests?

<p>Is there any reason to take and send both the SAT and the ACT? For the top tier schools, could it be an advantage to have high score on both tests or is a high score on one basically equivalent.
i.e. 2300s on SAT and 35/36 on ACT or just 2300s SAT?</p>
