Hello I am currently a junior at a public high school. I did not do well in freshman year bio, which forced me to take earth science sophomore year. Currently I am doing well in honors chemistry, taking ap chemistry next year. Unfortunately this may or may not allow me to take ap physics senior year with AP chem. I would like to go to Wesleyan, I am being recruited and hope to get 1500+ on my SAT in August. I did not take a 4th year of language, but will take calc AB next year. However many kids I talked to said regents physics is extremely easy and won’t really prepare you for college physics well. Should I take regular physics, as wesleyans recommended preparation for science includes physics, and my schedule may not work for AP Physics? Would taking a college prep course over senior year summer help? Have there been kids who have gotten into Wesleyan meeting only 1/3? I do plan to study some chemistry major at Wesleyan.
Being recruited for swimming
Yes take regular physics! It will help even if it’s not AP.
