OK, I will give you the simple version. I live in North Carolina, and am trying to choose between two colleges. First, UNC Chapel Hill. For those of you who don't know, this is an extremely prestigious university. Second, I received a full scholarship to UNC Greensboro. This is a less prestigious school, but it is completely paid for. I want to double major in both English and Theater, eventually going into law.

I could see myself thriving at either school, but I know that both prestige and price are important factors.

I think it really comes down to the school. If you really like Chapel Hill over the other and think it’ll help you more in life then I’d take the debt and go there. However, if you really see them as equal then I’d definitely take the full ride.

Its not about prestige. Well ok, maybe it is a bit, but if you value the schools equally then it shouldn’t matter what others think!

Thats true, thats why you have to judge whether the networks and stronger academics/prestige is worth the tuition. In my opinion it is, but thats up to you!
