Taking 3 AP social sciences junior year a good idea?

I'm not bad at science/math, I just don't like it as much as the social science, something I plan on majoring into. As my schedule for my junior works out, I got:
AP US Gov't & Politics
AP Macroeconomics (probable AP Micro self-study)
AP US History
The last one's basically required, and the first two are electives. I haven't doubled/tripled up in any other field, and I'll probably take AP Human Geography senior year.

Do you guys think that this is a good idea in terms of college admission, an enjoyable experience, and workload (using their respective AP tests as gauges of the class's difficulty). I kinda feel like I should switch AP Macro/Gov with perhaps AP Stats or APES.
Any opinions?

Yes it is a good. It would make sense to get the one’s related to major out the way first so you have an idea of what you will be doing in college.Of course, colleges love seeing well rounded students so do not limit your options but your current plan is a good one.

AP gove and AP macro are some of the easiest AP classes, and AP U.S. isn’t too hard (although it can be considered medium high). You’ll do fine. I’m taking 2 social science next year.

I read the title and somehow missed the “social” part, and immediately came in to question your sanity. xD

Anyways. I think AP Stats would be a good option - it’s supposed to be an easy class, even for the non-mathematics inclined, and an easy exam. And it never hurts to be well-rounded, so I say switch something out.

(I envy your ability to take Human Geo - I don’t have room for it. D=)

Thanks guys. AP Macro/Gov’t aren’t heavy work-load classes, although when there’s an assignment/test, your quarter grade depends on it. Even the APUSH teacher is pretty laid back. So it’s less about difficulty, as it is the experience of it and, of course, how it’ll look to adcoms. The teachers to both macro/gov’t are great, especially the gov’t teacher (who I have now).

Anyone else with any opinions? Man is the HSL forum popular!

What else are you taking?

if you’re doing macro and gov as one semester each so they only fill up one schedule block it should be fine.

AP English Lang. & Comp., AP Chemistry, Pre-Calculus Honors, Latin III Honors, and an easy television acting based elective to fulfill a graduation requirement. This goes in order of most work and difficulty to least work and easiest.

Sadly, my school administration hasn’t yet grasped the concept of semesters. All courses are year long.

You’re going to have an incredible year if you do that! APUSH is the major challenge, the other 2 arent terrible. If you can handle doing it with your other classes you’ll have fun

really? A whole year for macro, which is a one semester class, same with gov. You’ll be doing busywork, guaranteed.
