Hi guys,
I’m currently a junior and planning to take 9 AP exams this year and they are:
AP Chemistry (class)
AP Biology (Retake; got a 4)
AP Environmental Science(Retake; got a 4)
AP Statistics (class)
AP Calculus BC (class)
AP Macro/Micro Economics (self-study)
AP Physics 1 and 2 (self study)
Does this look feasible? For studying, I am using the Princeton Review 2017 editions for all of the book except for Biology (2015 Princeton Review). Anyone taking like me?
shudders say goodbye to your social life #:-S
Well chem and environmental science are at the same time so you’d have to see if you can take one late. I see no reason to retake 4s unless you’re looking for credit at a specific college and there’s absolutely no reason to self study 4 ap classes. Plus 9 AP exams x $93 per exam = $837. I dont know what your motivation for taking these exams are but I would just take the ones you’re taking classes in and fovus the rest of your time on more meaningful extracurriculars.
They overlap so you won’t.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish, especially considering that 1)tpp college’s want to see a total of 6-8 AP 's (as Stanford puts it ‘it’s not a game of whoever has the most AP’s, wins’) and 2) colleges want you in class, participating or taking tests NOT 'self studying '.
I agree with no retakes and that there is no point in self studying. You should only take 3
