Taking a College Class During the Summer

My local CC has a scholarship for a bunch of rising seniors in high school to take a class that is up to 3 credits for FREE. I totally want to take advantage of this, but I don’t know what kind of course I would take. I want to get some Gen Ed courses out of the way before college, but I will already have (most) of those out of the way, due to taking AP classes and getting credit, as well as taking CC classes at my high school. I don’t know what else I would take, but I feel like I should take something worthwhile this summer.

The classes that I will/hope to get credit for before/by graduating:

AP CLASSES:

  • AP World (I got a 3 on my exam, and all of the colleges I’m looking at will take it)
  • AP US History (the trend of scores on this test at my school is that they get a higher score that they got on WHAP, so I should get credit for this)
  • AP Literature (I’m really good at english - should get a good score on this test)
  • AP English Language (same reason as AP Lit)

CC CLASSES (through my school)

  • Intro to Music Theatre (got 3 credits last year)
  • Statistics (hope to take next year, will get 3 credits)
  • French 4 (almost 100% taking this next year, will get 6 credits)
  • Career and Financial Management (hope to take next year, will get 6 credits)

So that’s 2 history classes, 2 english classes, a music course, a math course, a FL course, a course in finance or something related, and one course as probably an elective credit (CFM is 2 courses taught in the same year). I was thinking about taking a fun class, to get elective credits that I will need without quote on quote “wasting” my money on it. But I was wondering if anyone had any previous experience or knowledge they could bestow upon me haha
