I'm planning to Principles of Economics at a community college this summer because I want to major in accounting. I wanted to take accounting but the term didn't match with my summer vacation, so... (I'm a junior)
I have three questions about this:
1. I'll take AP Macro/Microeconomics in my senior year. Would doing both AP and college credit course be okay? It's kind of repeating, so I wonder if the AP econ would be necessary?
2. Does taking college credit courses in high school make my transcript look much better?
3. I'm an international student, so I'm concerned about the visa. Do I need a F-1 student visa? I'll stay in the US for only about 6 or 7 weeks... Can I just enter the US and take courses with the tourist visa?

Not much point in taking both the AP course in your high school and a freshman level college course in the same subject.

Yeah. Take either AP or the college course. No point in both.
