taking chem1a and 1b concurrently?

<p>is it possible? does chem 1b build on material learned from chem1a exclusively?</p>

<p>if i don't take it during summer school, i'll be a year behind for chem-e.</p>

<p>i looked at the prereq for chem 1b and it said a score of 3,4,5 on ap chem.</p>

<p>i got a 4 on ap chem but that was 2 years ago so.... :S</p>

<p>Yah, All Chem-E's take the chem 4 series. Chem 1B is for certain engineering majors such as Physical Engineering, but NOT Chem Engineers.</p>

<p>Chemical Engineering department allows you to take Chem 1A and 1B if you just transferred in from another major.</p>
