Taking Classes at a local college

So next year i might want to take some classes at a local college.

If i want to major in chem/pre-med then what would be a good class to take

I will have completed AP Chem, AP Calc AB/BC, AP Physics and AP Economics at the end of my junior year.

Basic info:
3.65 UW
4.2 W

5 on AP Chem test

800 on SAT II Chem test

bump (10char)

Classes that would transfer to any 4 year school for general ed categories. If you take any class at a CC when you are still in HS, that grade still counts for med schools apps, so don’t blow them off!

It’s generally recommended to take ALL your med school requirements at your 4 yr college because some/many med schools prefer that. Why take a chance of hurting your chances of acceptance down the road?

So you would be better off NOT taking sci/math classes. If you want credit from your 4 yr college, select gen ed history or soc science classes (psych, sociology). Or better yet, take a class that you’re simply interested in - like theater, photography, art, music, language. Show a passion for learning, rather than wanting to get ahead.

To be honest im not really interested in any kind of art, music, language etc. Psychology seems like a possibility, although my school has a AP Psychology class

I only want to take the class because i am interested in it. Most likely i will take it again at my 4 year college.

I think it would be so interesting to take a class like anatomy & physiology. I might be getting ahead of myself, but its classes like those that im most interested in.
