Taking Classes at Different Schools

Can a Penn Arts and Sciences student take classes at Wharton, SEAS, or even the Huntsman institute (which I think is part of SAS)?

I think the answer is yes--but I'd like to know where it says this on their website and whether there are any restrictions.

Yes, you can take some of your classes within Wharton or SEAS to fill some of your requirements / electives. But you can’t swing it so that you can get a degree from either school without actually transferring into that school.

You can’t take classes within Huntsman though. Why? There’s only one class taught “within Huntsman” and it’s only for Huntsman kids. Here it is…the answer to the question in Huntsman’s FAQ area of “Do I take all my classes with other Huntsman students?”:

History 107 – Comparative Capitalist Systems – is the one exception. The course has been specifically designed for Huntsman students. It is taken during the first semester of the freshman year and is open only to Huntsman freshmen.
