Taking credit after taking a year off?

So, I'm going to be a freshman at college this coming year and I'm having a particular personal issue as I run through the general requirements, honors requirements, and ap credit policies of my soon-to-be residence.

I took AP Calculus AB junior year and did very well: got a 5 on the ap exam. But then my senior year I went and took AP Statistics and did essentially no reviewing of calculus.

Here's my question: should I take the credit and take calc II, or should I deny it and take the Honors introductory calc I class my college offers instead? Economically I want to take the credit, but subconsciously I'm not sure I'll do well in calc II.

This a terribly silly question but I would appreciate anyone's advice or response.

calc II repeats all of calc I, so if you have any vague memory of it, you'd prolly catch on quickly when you go over all the calc I stuff again.
