I know some people that did this. My major is Pol Sci, and I was wondering how much work one graduate class would be as an undergrad?

it really does depend on the professor and class…
ask the professor and look at the textbooks/past exams.
most likely, you will be fine with only 1 graduate class. when you start taking 4 or more, that might be a different story (though you’d probably be a grad student by that time)

what class? is it a seminar-type class? does it cover a lot of the stuff you know except at a deeper level? is it extremely abstract or just route memorization? is it (insert phrase)?

however, this question is way too broad to answer ‘correctly’ so maybe narrow it down a bit?

To illustrate my point, let me ask you this question: as a 1st year undergrad, how much work would an upper division political science class be?

You have no idea how much I know about political science, what course I’m asking about, how easily I grasp the material, etc etc…

Thanks for the reply! I was just looking at pol sci classes for grad students and it didn’t show any books etc for the class. So I can’t really go that route. I haven’t taken any upper div classes yet so I guess I can see the difficulty of that and maybe fit a graduate level class in.

I’m hoping it could look really good on my apps for grad school
