Taking more than the required amount of SAT IIs?

<p>Are there any benefits to taking more than the required amount of SAT IIs? Is there any way to take an extra SAT II but not have the colleges see it?</p>

<p>Basically, most of the colleges I'm applying to require 2 SAT IIs (with the new SAT I) and I was wondering if I should take another one in October. However, I'm not entirely sure how well I'll do on it and I'm wondering if I should just use that time to work on my college apps among other things.</p>

<p>Any of you think its worth taking an extra one?</p>

<p>Use the princeton or arco subject guides to get an idea of where you stand. Only take a third if it's up there with your two best. You don't want a poor third score to take the luster of two nice ones. Your entire SAT score history is sent as a package.</p>
