Taking Online/Summer classes to raise my GPA

Ok right now I stand at a 3.3 going into junior year. If I were to take one easy online class during the school year and one easy online/summer class during summer would that factor into my gpa.

Dude. Every school’s policy is different. There is no possible way for us to know. Ask your school’s administration.

Yes, depending on your schools policy. Although it won’t help much but it might bring you up .5 a gpa point

Easy classes probably won’t help your GPA much. College adcoms will probably look at it as a weak attempt to get a free GPA boost.

^ lol “Adcoms” don’t know what an easy class is. Besides there is such a thing as an elective requirement. so you have to have a certain amount of “easy” classes to graduate.
Besides they focus on academic classes

Even if this class is factored into your GPA, it surely will not be weighted. Considering you’ve probably taken ~30 credits (1 everyday class=1 credit) by junior year, a 4.0 in this would have almost a negligible effect on your gpa.

((3.330)+(14.0))/31=3.32

If your doing it as a “grade booster”, it doesn’t seem worth it. However, if you have a genuine interest in this subject, by all means take the class.
