Taking Orgo Lab in Senior Year

Due to scheduling conflict, I may not be able to take the Orgo lab in junior year, and will have to take it in the fall semester of senior year.

Will this affect my ability to apply for med school in senior year?

I don't know; it depends on your school. At mine, students are actually ENCOURAGED to push orgo lab to first semester senior, even if they plan on applying to med school for entry the fall following graduation, meaning that their applications are sent out before they actually take orgo lab. This reasoning is largely because orgo lab at my school is an 8 hour a week bear of a class that many people have difficulty fitting in, or would find too difficult if taken concurrently with orgo lecture. My school sends enough students to med school every year that I don't know if this is a standard accepted practice, or that the med schools have an understanding that this is the way things are done at my institution.
