Taking Physics B and then C?

I finished AP Physics B (equivalent to 1st semester) and I'm going outside of school to take a physics course.

But since I'm seriously considering majoring in physics, I would like to do physics C. They offer Physics C 1 (1st semester, equivalent to AP Physics C) and Physics C 2 (second semester). So do you think that I could skip Physics C 1 and just go into Physics C 2 because I've taken AP Physics B? I could self study C 1 with the B background that I have. Would this be very difficult?

Or if I do go ahead and start over by taking Physics C 1, I'm afraid that colleges will think I'm not challenging myself by taking two Physics 1 courses. Is this likely to happen?

I'm not sure how your school structures your physics c class, but in mine, 1st semester was mechanics and 2nd semester was E&M. And you could take C without ever having B. I don't think there were really any topics other than calculating the rotational inertia and terminal velocity stuff of an object that involved calculus. Be sure to look at CB's content outline for Phys B and C to see which ares you havent covered. I think you can pull it off for Mechanics, but you will definitely have to take the E&M course because that involves a lot of Calculus and stuff you probably havent seen in B.

Ohh I see... I think I'm just going to take C1 first semester and then C2 second semester. I think the C and B are too different to be able to just skip to C2 for now...

Yeah, B and C are completely different subjects. (Except some magnetism and circuits)

what does that mean
