Hi,
I’m taking the AP Euro exam tomorrow and was just looking for some last minute advice/reassurance. I used Modern European History, Crash Course, and AP Achiever to study and took a few practice tests. The essays need to save me, because my multiple choice skills are very mediocre. That’s been the pattern for me throughout the course- stellar essays and DBQ’s and mediocre multiple choice.

It’s obviously going to be a different test for us (Form B), but I just wanted some last minute advice and to ask a few questions.

-
For the DBQ, my teacher instructed us to use 10+ documents, analyze POV in 4+ documents, and group documents into 3+ groups of 2 or more, but not to try to force the documents into 4 groups if they didn’t warrant it. I think this makes sense but just wanted to get some second opinions.

In terms of the essays, we were instructed to write what we felt would be the stronger of the two first, regardless of which section it was from (for me, it’s going to most likely be from the second grouping, as that’s my stronger time period). Again, it makes sense to me, but I’m just looking for some confirmation.

For the MC, I tend to go through one run through and answer the questions I’m confident about then go back and attempt to answer the remaining questions. Should I not do this?

On the practice test we took at school, I scored a 40/80 on the MC, 8/10 on the DBQ, and 6/10 and 9/10, respectively, on the two essays (my teacher is an AP scorer). Is this good enough for a 5 or is it just a 4? Any overall advice you’d give me on how to improve my score?

Thanks for the help, everyone.
